Bit late but I thought I'd throw my two-penneth in.
Just fitted one of Porny's EGR kits to my 110 td5 this weekend. It's great quality kit, I'm really pleased with it. The replacement vac pipe is a proper solution and looks to be OE supplied to me but without the T piece which you have to block off on the other kits - a bit of a bodge in my humble opinion. The EGR replacement pipe is milled from billet and the ridge machined into it is pretty pronounced, which should ensure that the pipe never blows off (I've tried my best to blown it off since I fitted it, without success.. Ahem). For Mud-Club members it'll work out about the same cost as other kits too.. he does discount for us. (You need to pm him)
I fitted the kit really for reliability more than performance/economy related reasons but I'm pleasantly surprised with the economy figure I've just recorded.. Previously the best I'd managed in the last 1500 miles was 25mpg and twice I recorded 23mpg at a steady 65-70mph on motorways- not good for steady runs with a light right foot.. Today I checked it over 100miles of motorway and general roads, driving in the same manner and recorded 26.4mpg. About right for a 110 with a big roofrack perhaps - but not normal for mine until now. It's not very scientific and very 'early days' but I'm happy. About 10% improvement give or take? There were signs that the EGR was just beginning to fail when Porny ran a check on the engine with his laptop for me, so perhaps it's to be expected. I've worked out that if this is sustained, the kit will actually pay for itself by the end of the summer.
I'm conscious this is beginning to sound like an advert for Porny (IRB Developments), so I should probably point out I hardly know the guy - I've only met him the once, but credit where it's due - he really knows his stuff and the EGR kit is top quality. I'm happy!

nice this looks the way to go for my td5 110
i was thinkin of starting with egr removal, a custom one box de-cat side exit exhaust, performance air filter and a turn or two in on the actuator arm
then when money allows a new intercooler, propane injection, new turbo and a proper boost upgrade to gert er shiftin ;)
