Removing rear 'A' Frame. yes or no?
Rasbo:
dont do it! my a frame came away from the chassis because of rust. and the steering was... lets say interesting. every time you co around a corner it feels like the rear end is gonna come away. the a frame is the only thing stopping sideways movement. also the added strain on the trailing arms is likly to bend them.
Cheers

The rear of a standrad RRC should to flex nicely, even when bobed :-k
The "shock type thing that attaches to the 'A' frame" is the Boge Hydromat self leveling unit (SLU). After a few decades these are not like new and can stop leveling, it may be yours could even have seised (or at least stiff to move). As above old rubber bushes won't help.
Which polyurethane bushes are you going to fit?
