SEAT BELT ON OR OFF WHEN OFF ROADING VOTE NOW !!

<< < (10/12) > >>

muddyweb:
You don't have to be in a roll or be travelling at speed to need a seat belt.   Try crossing a set of dried ruts at 10 mph with no seat belt...   your head will be bouncing off the roof and that's a very good way to get seriously hurt.

The only place you need to be when driving off-road is securely planted in your seat...    if you can't drive it properly when you are there... then maybe you need to have a rethink !!!!

Saffy:
On for me. I have hit my head on ceiling before now over rough ground when not wearing belt and it hurts, never happened on same section when wearing belt. Across flat fields when opening gates, cba to wear it - judgment call.

Sharpshooter:
Personally i dont. Because im a big guy, and i bruise easily.

But i always advise to wear it.

Changed my mind a bit---- if driving in deep water leave it off ;)

but the rest of the time on... :D
