Anyone here know of a 2-door Softdash?
ariane44:
Hi!
Did anyone ever see a 2-door conversion of a Softdash? I'm curently building one and I wonder if it will be the first and only 2-door Softie. LR never bothered making them.
Pics are here between the German text :-)
Cheers

In answer to your question – I haven’t got a clue! However looked at your link and I think is superb, certainly dedicated.
Well done mate.
discowoman:
last 2 doors weer the CSK special editions - last 'official' 2 doors were 1984/5 ..when you consider the soft dash's were 1994/5 then you realise why Land rover didnt produce any!
are you going the whole hog and fitting EAS? or keeping with springs?

2-door were produced until April 94, when the harddash was replaced. They have not been in the British showrooms, but France and Spain, e.g., have lots of them.

Currently I'm not thinking about converting to EAS. The original Softdash was a low spec V8 not having it, so I don't think I'm going to put it in despite loving it in my Softdash LSE (the white one).
Cheers

PS: The bad thing about my question is that no one can say there is no other, only lots of people can say they don't know any...
