Wiring a flasher relay

Right, now this may seem like a stupid question, but I'm getting confused over it.

Having got the engine in the Series running again I am going to start sorting the rest of it out.  That includes rewiring most of it from scratch.  One of the things that needs to be replaced is the flasher relay.  Now, do I need one of these per side, or one that handles both sides?  With hazard function, or not?

All the ones I have seen (Vehicle Wiring Products, etc.) just have two or three connectors and do not, on the face of it, seem to be able to handle both left and right.

Any insight, or wiring diagrams, would be greatly received.

you have only one relay but its the indicator switch that directs the current to the bulb

Most of the time, yes.  But on this occasion all I could find were technical diagrams that explained what a flasher relay did and how it worked, not how to wire it in.

When you have practised on your series mate Manfred's hazards are still not been done. 3 garages and none of them could work it out.  [-o<
