Dont know why I haven't made one before...

Seems quite easy, and made it all from an A4 size pice of 3mm sheet steel.

made a couple of 'adjustments' but looking good so far. Actually, I think the worst bit is going to be moving the wiring!! Lol!!

Will get the camera out later!

McGuire:
You can either solder in and extend the wiring, as I did on mine, or peel it out of the loom, in which case it reaches the new location easily, as Excossack did. He's got photos of how we did his car on his site.
Must point out, nothing that we did is a MUST! You can do your own variations on the theme. Matt, for instance, mounted his coil pack to the front of the battery retainer clamp, whereas John's and mine are in a different place.
 Each to their own!!

jiffyman:
Yeah, cheers for that!!

I have been out there tonight taking a few photos.

Got the timing chain in, and front of the engibne rebuilt.

Had the bracket welded up by a mate, and have stripped the wiring back to get the altycables to the other side of the engine.

My work the kindly donated a reel of insulating tape, and I have gone though most of the front end wiring tidying it up and re-taping it. also re-routing alot too!!

Looking at it, most of the connectors look like they need to be re-made at some point too, think work could 'donate' some bulet or crimp connectors, lol!!

Lincs niva:
Lada eletrics hey

Keep up the work mate it wil be worth it

Cheers Gav
