Can you stand on a Disco 1 roof?

I am just under 10 stone and am always standing on the roof. whether it being cleaning the caravan roof or putting up xmas decorations (not always doing this obviously) it is fine. I find it fun to run and jump onto the centre of the bonnet then climb onto the roof. You do get funny looks though. best step ladder ever. Manaul says roof rack max load 60kg's. thats 9 and a half stone. I am 62kg ;)

So yes, go on do it, you know you want to!!! :lol:

My route of access was always rear bumper, spare wheel then roof, works like a big ladder with very few rungs. hahha

I was always worried that standingon the spare wheel would make the back door do something funny and never shut again.

the official LR ladder for accessing the roof is only bolted to the door so standing on the spare should be fine, assuming the spare wheel mount isn't rusted through...
