Oh bless, best of luck!

discowoman:
well as an update - he spent last night in bed fully clothed with the heater on dithering!!!
Just hope something gets sorted soon with him..

crazymac:
Bloody hell!! my thoughts are with you both, just be there for him and continue to help him access medical help!

Old Warthog:
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your hubby. I have suffered from PTS and also been affected by morphine, which is great as a painkiller but can hang around for up to two week after the last administration (I was seeing things crawling down the walls- ugh).

However, be wary of your GPs diagnosis, he sounds as though he needs a specialist assessment.  I was diagnosed with PTS (ex-forces) and it has taken me about 4 years to get off the drugs that were prescribed for me.  Sometimes the cure is as bad as the illness.

Please watch what they prescribe and ask them about side effects.  At least you are there to fight his corner for him.

I really hope everything resolves itself well for you.

Regards and best wishes,

Keith

If you ask my friends about what happens when i take the funny blue pill they will tell you a whole load of funny things even about my KFC party where i invited 250 and i was going to buy them all chicken chips etc

Did i have a clue what they were on about when i was off the drugs?? Did i heck. Drug psychosis is a very real thing and ive had my fair share of it when i was taking 10 mg of morphine every 2 hours and it did last for some time but it past after a week or two.

I agree with Keith dont be afraid to question the docs sometime they dont always know best.

Hope he comes out of it soon and feels better and you to.
