200tdi in a110 2.5petrol

hi again got a 110 2.5 petrol 1988 .thinking about puting in a 200tdi i know the engine mounts will have to be moved/made and the exhaust. but what else is involved. and what sort of mpg should get out of the petrol engine? seems  very thirsty.           thanx jo

1 or 2 studs removed from the back plate, probably get 26-28mpg MAXIMUM. If you want to get that at a higher cruising speed, then consider a disco transfer box

Jo you might find this link useful, I was going to fit a Disco 200tdi in my truck but have decided to keep the original engine. I've a Disco I'm breaking the engine, intercooler and Rad are available if you are interested.
