are  they normal steel, ally or what?
Looking into adapting these to fit a hilux. But i need to weld them to the chasis.
Will they weld ok? Or do i need to make a plate to bolt them to?

Cheers

Pete

ben_haynes:
pete the best is make some plates welded onto the lux chassis then bolt them on,

they are possibly weldable and you could probably make your own dislocation cones

Shunt:
but for the price of them it`s not really worth me making them.

Yeah  a plate is more sensible i suppose

Cheers

Pete

ben_haynes:
true true,

atleast then if they are fitted in the wrong place you only damage the rubbish parts of the Lux

V8MoneyPit:
Those ones are zinc plated steel. I've just bought some of their front ones, but modified them because I didn't like them too much!
