In days of old it made sense but sadly most tax exempt coilers are very dodgy these days and coilers are much cheaper to buy than they were anyway.......  Personally I have one of each and wouldn't swap either one.

You are right about most tax exempt coilers being dodgy, one of my favorite sports is asking awkward questions when they come up for sale on Ebay. However if someone is determined to do it it can be an interesting engineering project with satisfying results.

Id neva change my leaf springs! can get a lot of movement out of them if there good! even standard springs if soak in oil and work it in!

ive desided to "modify" the range rover i have, for the coil lover in me and keep my leafer standard.
 the good old bounce of the series II makes me smile even when im in a real grumpy mood!!! im keepeing the springs standard but gonna keep them well looobed to hopefully get as much travel as possible.

 what longer shocks do people recomend?
