Driveing with no prop. shaft?

 I drove round in my 1997 disco with no rear prop for the same reason for over a week with no problems although I never took it over 50 mph

i drove round with one prop on my rangie for 4 weeks and now i blew the transfer box so i would fix a,s,a,p to stop any more damage
