engine gets hot quick

Hi my engine builds up pressure very quick the hose goes like a brick i have just replaced the head gasket but b4 then it was not building up pressure just samll amount of water and getting hard to start some times

maybe an airlock i know these trucks can be a right pain in the arse to bleed air out the best way is to run motor with rad cap off with front end raised in the air on a set of ramps for a good 20-30 mins and did you replace thermostat as well ?
