Hi, does anyone know what the biggest diameter tire is that will go on the back of a standard diso spare holder before it fouls the bumper. I'm thinkin of puttin a set of 235/85/16's on but would like to have a spare the same size but think it hight catch.

I think it's about 32", you can get a 33" on there but you need to raise the mounting slightly.
If all else fails then there's always the oversize wheel mounts from Devon 4x4.  ;)

ive just got 235/85/16 and i need the door open just to put the spare wheel on. cause it fails to fit with the door shut  :doh:

I know a couple of people with 235/85 BFG M/T on that fit the spare wheel carrier, of course some remoulds are a lot bigger than they pretend to be :-.

J13 MUD:

This is quite strange, I have new BFG Mud's 235 x 85 x 16 and the spare fits on the wheel carrier without any mods, there is only about 5 mm clearance to the bumber but the tyre does not foul on anything.
