A possible easy fix, Try reversing up a few yards or so?  if not possible switch problem?   And welcome  to the muddy side

Begbie:
As above, take it out of diff lock and then reverse it until the difflock light goes out.  Don't drive it on hard surfaces eg tar roads until the difflock light is out because you will be winding the transmission up.

It could also just be a sticky switch.

To find the switch follow the front prop back towards the gearbox. Put you hand up over the top and along the top of the gearbox (well transfer box actually :) ) and you will find a switch that has a two wires plug on it. I forget the spanner size up it can be removed once you have unplugged the wires. IIRC it is just a little plunger type affair and you will soon see if it free to move or not.

I have changed one with the box in situ so not hard, you just can't see it so you will have to do it by feel; be careful not to cross thread it.

....and of course...welcome   :D
