BFG A/t's will cope with most situations, they will last you for over 50,000 miles i have had reports of up to 70,000 miles they work well on the road with little to no noise and there only £95 per corner.

In that vein, I have Goodyear Wrangler AT/Rs on my road going Discovery and they have been superb.

I have done 40,000+ and there is still much life left in them.  I have used them hard off road and hard on road and they have always responded.

I personally think that they are better on dry tarmac than BFG ATs, and as good in the rough stuff, but not quite as good on wet tarmac.

I think they come in a bit cheaper than BFGs too!
