what's the maximum body lift anyone has done for a 200 disco,,and how did ya get round the steering shaft length ,ie did it have to be cut and new section welded on etc..thanks ..robbie

mentalmoshio sophs V8i:
seen kits go up to 60mm before after that its gonna be as tall as this. and welded steering shaft  surly a long spined shaft would be better .

My Mate did a 12" body lift on one

But he made a sub chassis type thingy

But yes mate all He did to steering shaft was cut it and extend it with a thick walled piece of tube

UK CRAIG:
I have just done a 2:" body lift on my Disco, I had a small extension piece made for the diff-lock lever and nothing else, so far the steering hasn't been a problem, check the brake lines you should need to get longer ones, I already had them fitted with a 2" suspension lift and they also seem ok with the extra 2" body lift, it depends on how much articulation you have with your suspension - standard or raised.

stuntman:
Safely 60mm, although I went 40mm and I don't think I would want to go any higher,
