Diff lock stuck on :(

Out playing in the snow today engaged diff lock and now the damn thing won't dis-engage. I drove home about half a mile with it on and try going back and forth in the drive, no luck. Any tips ?

Range Rover Blues:
Jack up one wheelto ensure it'snot wound up.  Next check for stone and debris blocking the lever between the tunnel and the box.

As RRB said jack up and check. My diff lock warning light says on even though diff lock disengaged. I always check - just in case!

try raversing about a hundred yard when it gets stuck next time it works for me

It seems to work best  turning while reversing on mine.
