hubbys boss brough a dennis about 6 years ago at auction, paid under a grand for it..tyres had less than 500 miles on them (£300 each if he had to buy them + they were on alloys) sold the V8 to a guy from Devon. weighed the rest in..made in excess of £6000

In all my years as a fireman I never ever saw a fire appliance with alloy wheels and I travelled all over the UK to liaise with other brigades :-k

Probably from a station that had to cover an area full of night clubs, the alloys have spinners fitted, and when the blue lights are flashing the under vehicle blue neons play a part. :wink:

deffo alloy - as they are now on Hubbys 94D scania...tyres were michelin's too, set of 6...
think the appliance came from north 'o' the border originally..
