not sure about bumpers without end caps on discos ,I know they get knocked off but they do tidy the corners up. However I think the colour of the car can have a bearing on how they look too, silver seems to work well :D  

Then again all the best Discos are silver ;)

Glad to see I am not the only one with a girting gret repair panel welded onto the rear cross member :-)

As far as commenting on your bumper...

I'd be worried about my rear quarters if I were you. The rear quarters tend to get a right bashing and that is why people who make heavy duty bumpers go to the trouble of making corners up. Its not for looks only!

If I were you I'd get some thick aluminum 5 bar tread plate and make up panels to go on your rear corner bottoms to protect them. Get some good sized pot rivets and secure them well. If like me you don't like the look of chequer plate in its natural state you can always get a tin of paint the same colour as your vehicle from automotive paint supplier and hand paint it - its not so obtrusive then.

    no not  started on mark 2 yet. hopfully getting burning gear off my brother weekend so can have a go at a bit of heat and bending for the corners. as for being to straight thats what i thought as well. as for mark 1 i might just give it to my brother  ;)and spend more than one night making the next one and do it right ;) :lol:

im on the fence with with one, tubelur does look very nice the only makes me unsure is the daft panel of the rear quater it never seem to looked finish when u remove the ends cap, yet when rear over hangs are cut off it looks alot better.

i think i go for a 5 inch slash cut singe pipe  with over hanges and 3 1/2 inches without.
