I went for colour matched to body for the rear x member & front bumper, the rest left natural, gently faded galv.

I like the powder coating idea; having got the best make it look the part.

The powder coating will look good and give it loads of protection, with the galvanising if it gets chipped it will last forever.

Range Rover Blues:
As-is, painting will only reduce the effectiveness.  Otherwise black waxoil.
