Aircon compressor whining, help please!

they are fiddly to do you should be able to get a screwdriver under them and prise one end out then its a case of fiddling the clip out of its groove

I could move it with the screwdriver, but when I tried to lever it enough to make it pop out the screwdriver slips or the circlip spins around in the groove :evil: Was thinking there might be some trick I'd missed. I've not managed to stab myself with the screwdriver yet anyway! :lol:
