Replacement Front Seats

(1/4) > >>

cotefarmboy:
I want to replace the uncomfortable front seats in my 90, there are many posts on this subject but I'm looking for some advice as to what seats will go in without needing welding or extensive modification as my DIY skills are limited.

So far i have seen some at Exmoor trim but it will set me back nearly £450, I am sure there is a cheaper way.

BK:
MR2 mk2 seats go in a treat and are very comfy and not too high and not too low, they have a pump up lumbar support, recline, tilt up and down, all you need is piece of box section and a few nuts and bolts and the jobs a good un!! and trust me they are very very comfy :)

I've thought about doing this, but, once the seats are in is it possible to "easily" get to the battery compartment?
Also, has anyone tried fitting Rover 100 seats?

jjsaul:
We've got Saab 9-5 seats in the front of our 110.

You need some box section and a piece of steel / ally plate to mount them on. Oh and a few nuts and bolts

Still got easy access to the battery box because we made the passenger side one tilt backwards on the piece of plate that the runners are bolted to. (It's hinged at the back and just has a catch at the front to hold it in the down position)

I'll try and get some photos in the next few days.

I have a set of these, nice and comfy, and easy to fit
