Fuel Tank Question ?

--- Quote from: "Paul" ---Thanks Tim,
Can you adjust the pump output ?

The fuel pressure on the Efi is governed by the pressure regulator on the fuel rail, so the short answer is no ;-)

--- Quote from: "neil thorne" ---paul on Scrapheap last night the guys with the v8 ice cream van just put a kink in the pipe and a hoseclip tocure their overfueling problem!!!

I think their problem was that the return pipe was too large, so there wasn't sufficient pressure at the carbs. The kink in the return line restricted the flow and increased the fuel pressure.
Paul:
Umm...
So would the fuel pump I have now fit the other tank. :-k
Any idea ?
karloss:
The boy racer magazines sell adjustable pressure regs. They call them something like "power boost valves" Altho' they sell them to increase pressure and I'm not sure how much adjustment you get. might pay to have a play, don't know what they cost tho'.
muddyweb:
Karloss, they tend to be for EFi vehicles... to replace the standard fuel regulator.... and they are expensive :-(
