Tread carefully, as I see the phrase "Browns Gas" which is often associated with perpetual motion and other scams. It might be good fun to play around with but don't shell out expecting astonishing results. Even they say (in smaller print) "run your car on water...and gas"!

They tried a few different versions of this on MYTHBUSTERS. needless to say it is all snake oil.

The basic principle is to extract hydrogen gas from the water by using electrolosis. Then burn it in the same way as petrol.
