Please Help, V8 disco alternator?????!!!!!!

i went out today and the atlernator packed in :'(  it got that hot it melted the turmanals  :'( any ont no where i can get a cheap one from ?? and pretty quick?? at i got the car back to my uncles but keep jump starting it.  It is a 1994 V8 3.9EFI thanks rob
