300 tdi Exhaust Replacement

I need to get a new back section for my 300tdi.

I was thinking of replacing the middle section for a straight though.

Anyone done this, does it have any performance gains, and does it make it sound better?

Yep, just put a straight through middle bit on my 300, sounds nice (not loud) and seems to pull a bit better at low revs.
