Rear Door Storage

(1/3) > >>

bigwood:
My 200TDI has no door pockets on the inside of the rear door and I cant find any on * bay. As I intend to store my strops and shackles in there  metal boxes would be better .I have access to metal bashing equipment and materials at work so I thought I would make my own. Has any body done this and if so can I have some pickys to give me some ideas.  :!:

lee celtic:
I'd say dont bother they add weight to an already heavy door and if you put something big in the back they will dent/smash when you close the door.

I had pockets on my door ,lasted about a week after getting the car

muddyjames:
my disco has a pocket and speakers. right royal pain in the bum although useful at the same time. Dr Ed on here bought some small elastic bunjee type pockets and mounted those to the door and replaced the door card with some 3mm ply wood. stores away neetly when not in use.

Disco Matt:
Never had any trouble with the pocket on mine - I did have to repair it though as the last owner had mashed it. I used some tape to make a mould then dolloped epoxy resin in to build up the screw holes. The resin was left to harden and then drilled to take the screws.

python:
i have a spare pocket and speaker and door card in grey. oh the handle too. interested? p,m me if you are  :)
