Range Rover Blues:
Digital isn't all it was promised to be.  I used to get a perfect signal, some days i didn't need to plug anything in and i could watch it.  Now I have problems with reception, my aerial has sanpped off in the high winds so i stuffed it up in the loft, but some channels are really poor.
I wouldn't mind but it was an expensive aerial a few years ago, now that everything has gone digital the reception is rubbish.

the only reaosdn we are being forced to buy digiboxs is because the airwaves are something else Tony B. Liar's gov't sold off and pocketed the cash for.

Disco Matt:
Supposedly the digital signal will improve when analogue is switched off and they're able to turn the transmitters up to full power. I'm not holding my breath!

What annoys me most is that those of us who live in areas with no Freeview coverage are still forced to pay the full license fee. We're paying for channels we can't get and have no say in the matter. I also maintain that our analogue signal has been deliberately degraded over the last year or so as it seems to suffer far more from adverse weather than it used to.

HI
Worst thing I did was get rid of sky box (was never there to watch it and warrant the monthly cost) and get a freeview box.
It freezes, sound levels jump up and down, the box locks up, its affected when the dishwasher changes cycle or the central heating cuts in. I read somewhere that you can get the free digital channels through the sky box/ dish. Not sure if you can but that would be a much better and reliable signal than through the standard ariel.

And yes my channel list does change every time I rescan but the only good thing is its never a channel I watch!!!!
Cheers
