No not the furry four legged ones :lol: the company next to us at work fit refrigerated bodies onto vehicles, they do alot of the tesco,asda delivery vans etc, so their yard always has about 20 chassis cab merc sprinters in it. today they get in to work to discover 12 are missing the catalysts from the exhausts :shock: some scrotes have been in and painstakingly removed them and had away with the lot
anyway the  :police: were called and its a growing problem as they are after some precious metal thats in them?? anyone else heard of this?

good luck to them i say. good training for a job at quick fit, ill bet they could change a full system in seconds.

Funny you should say that.. the Transit van at the wifes works had one cut off last week  :shock:

Yer, from what i understand there is a small amount of platinum and rhodium in every catalysts which reduce the nitrogen oxide emissions. but as to how they would get it out i dont know?????

im guessing soon scrappys will be banned from taking them.
