Thanks, but you had better check your series lll is covered as they clearly state they don't insure cars used for off-road  :shock:
Maybe you don't use your series off road but sadly this wont apply to the rangie !   :D

Just a quick update
Phoned NFU today while I was waiting on some hydraulic hoses being made up
A quick call to their underwriters and yes, no problem at all - no extra charge over a standard rangie !
Shame on you all you "specialist " insurance companies !

what difference does it make if its used off road or not? i wouldnt expect my insurance to cover me while im off road but how do they konw if you do go off road or not???

A few companies, NFU included will insure your landy for green lane use, non competitive off roading etc.
Because I have business use and my business takes me off road a lot then it is a fairly important requirement for me
I guess accidents can happen on green lanes too

Would be an interesting case as greenlanes by definition are legally public highways (we need to have tax, MOT & insurance)... Course... if a driving error sees you slide sideways into a river or some such you might have difficulties!  :lol:
