I need an extra inch! Oooooerrr

stuntman:
Hello everyone, again!

I'm after some help if you can.

I have Bearmach Blue HD +2's allround and procomp +2 shocks to go with them, along with extended stops and +4 brake lines.

I already have 265/75/R16's and a 40mm bodylift (although I may remove the body lift)

I would really like to go an extra inch with the suspension and I was thinking, I want to use spacers but what else will I need?

Spacers
Spacers for the bump stops?
Castor correction arms front and back?
Do I need new props?
I will definitly be going for wheel sacers aswell.

Any help would be great!

i assume we are talking about a disco 1 and not td5 and that your already up 2 inch! i was told that if you go above 2 inch then you would require at minium castor correction by either those special bushes or the full monty arms, extened brake lines (which you have) and a double carden prop (Not sure thats spelt correct...) for example like thats fitted to a TD5 as the new angle on a tdi unit see's out your donut within weeks ;) extened bump stops may be usefull as well. i was thinking about a 4 inch lift on mine but settled for 2 inch when the bill started to grow out of proportion.

Hi mate

I have 35" tyres hence I also have a 2" lift and 2" spacers

In addition to that I have

extended brake lines
extended-extended bump stops
castor corrected arms front and cranked rear
wide angle props, I was advised against double cardon props by Gwyn Lewis 4x4.

Good luck

stuntman:
No probs.

So I have:
+2 suspension lift on already
265/75/16
extended lines
extended stops

I need:
Castor correction front and rear arms
spacers for extended stops
Spring spacers
Wide angle prop.

I will be buying to start off:
Wheel spacers
Wide angle prop

Can I also get: (just thinking aloud here)
Drop mounts for the rear (I really want twins but I'm not sure these are available)
Drop mounts twin for the front?

Please advise - I can see myself spending rather alot of cash on this!

wizard:
No all lifts require castor correction arms.
Mine has plus 2 springs and 1 inch spacers, (and a 2 inch body lift) all i have done is fit a double carden prop, cranked rear trailing arms and extended brake lines.
If you have a 200 series the rear prop will be Ok if you hacve a 300 series chuck out the rear prop and fit a 200 one.

She handles well enough for a 2 tonne truck.
