(1/3) > >>

Discotel:
Hi all, I am sure this has been covered a million times before but I cant find the thread...So what is the best way to fit the plastic extended arches to a disco 1 3 door please...I have no template and was just going to offer them up, draw round them, then cut just under the line I had drawn...

yep thats just about it, nibbler, jigsaw and masking tape, stainless steel cutting disc, take ur pick (iam sure everyone has an opinion on what to use!) i used all three and all worked well. Good Luck (measure 3 times cut once or Measure once and balls it up once!!)

windowlicker:
when i did mine i used a jigsaw for 90% of it and a 1mm wide cutting disc for the awkward bits and a cordless recipertating saw (spelt wrong) which was ideal for the plastics but i guess i could of used a jigsaw for that :D

How i did mine was.....

I offered up the arches and got them level and in line then got my cordless drill and marked each hole that needed drilling, then i marked 15mm down with a marker and joined them up. I cut it with a 4 1/2" grinder with a super thin blade.

Worked a treat on mine

Cheers peeps, will give it a go this sunday if i get a chance.
