But as you say, if they are all locked away and/or secured, why should there be a problem? There are still a fair few coppers out there who have a modicum of savvy and common sense, along with the old favourite, discretion.

I agree with LSP, if you are just driving around with it for the sake of it and its hidden under your drivers seat, then you may have a few problems, but if you are laning and its locked with some other tools in a box, then its common sence.

err, i will put them in a box then. :D
i often get funny looks in town when i open a door and loads of  empty catridges fall out, and in the audi there are ammo casings stuck between the glass and the interior panel, cannot get them out, hope i dont get a tug in that, wont look good. and yes i do sometimes go out in the fields in a car and the cases auto eject out the side and every time catch the window and drop them down there.

Better still, some det cord around the base of the tree would clear it, although having det cord in your possesion might take a little bit more explaining away and could result in an extended visit to a dark cell for a 'little chat' to see if you have ever had a 3 month holiday in Pakistan. :shock:
