A TV question...

<< < (2/3) > >>

Thrasher:
This intrigues me - having a dvd recorder etc and never actually using it more than twice to record. Do people actually record things to keep? Or to watch when they are out - if so - how do you manage to find the time? I find if I miss something it is soon repeated......then I can watch it in real time

sleeplessparadise:
If you are wanting to just record the digital channels to watch at a later date why not get a Freeview box with hard disc recorder? We just bought one at christmas for £70 with a twin tuner so if necessary we can record two channels onto the same hard drive.......... this also enables you to pause live tv if you get a phone call or a visitor comes round what ever without the need to be rummaging round for discs or videos.

Disco Matt:
I tend to tape stuff if I'm going to be out, then watch it when I get back. I don't think I've bothered taping (DVDing to be more accurate) a film to keep for ages though. Older films can be had so cheaply now via Amazon that it's not really worth the effort.

Bob696:
I just download anything I miss. Most of the channels have now made that real easy by putting them up on their websites.

Evilgoat:
Check the Scart cable you are using. most TVs should be able to do thins, I know mine can if I ever tuned it in.
