After reading a thread on here, with regards to the value of these machines, i thought, it would never sell, whatever it looked like

The SAS did use Range Rovers for a while, although theirs were in civvy colours (apparently with a fair bit of underbody protection and sockets for platforms to allow troops to ride on the bonnet and scramble into buildings via windows).

And if the Police did a PNC check on the reg number they would be politely informed to ring a number in whitehall ;)

Yep, and if they stopped one speeding they would be swiftly informed not to do so again! :lol:
