turbo whistles twice as loud

A bit of damage to one of the fins could be another cause :-k

hi, it looks like its more than 1 fin damaged, any idea what could have caused that. cheers.

Unless the bearing has gone and the fins have hit the casing then something has gone through the turbo :-o
karlsburgers:
sounds worrying. my mate is going to flush the engine and give it an oil change then change the turbo, hopefully that should sort it. i'm just concerned about how something got in there in the first place.
