Rear Bumpers
lee celtic:
Hi All
Can I pick all your brains..
I need a new back bumper I would like one that is all steel with jacking/recovery points and good departure angles any ideas/sugestions welcome as I want to check out as many as possible before making a decision . :D
J B:
i bought the firstfour one from paddocks, is very good
chris9119:
Scrapiron one for me, the dogs hairy bits. Centre holes for nato hitch, best recovery connection ever
Dr Neil:
I've got a Discoparts one.The finish on the powder coating isn't great but it has got two jacking tubes and you can get a central recovery point that bolts on.
It has been good until i got it caught on a hiden tree stump and tore the metal.Think it was bowt £175 inc.
At the end of the day you have to decide how much you want to spend and go from there!
just my thoughts
Neil...
Jake:
I had a Discoparts rear bumper a while ago
Didn't take much to bend it either
Unfortunetly there isn't much choice when it comes to disco rear bumpers
Could you not make one yourself?
I've seen a few homemade ones now and it doesn't look horribly hard
:D
