Yes, I know they never have much go, but it seems worse than I remember. Air filter is clean (snorkel fitted). When I last had the head off everthing looked okay with just a few minor cracks around the 'hotspot' inserts. Suggestions?? Other than a engine transplant... :?

davidlandy:
replaced the fuel filter recently?

i must admit whilst you say other than an engine transplant I would seriously consider it if I was you.  Lookout for a cheap 200tdi Disco ie good engine rotten chassis, these can be had for less than £500 these days.   They fit in to your motor easily and the transformation over the td engine is incredible.  Trust me , its very worthwhile.

Range Rover Blues:
Try checking the boost and that full boost is getting to the fuel pump.  Unless it's spewing out clouds of black smoke then it's possible it's just not fuelling up properly.

Has it got slightly more economical recently :-k

electricbluebadger:
Have you split a turbo pipe or delaminated one, if so performance will drop to worse than an NA

Cheers Steve

Range Rover Blues:
Agreed, I had an intercooler pipe blow off (not tight enough) and because of the gearing, C:R etc the car was well lame, almost unsafe.
