defender v8 exhausts
« on: February 19, 2008, 22:06:13 »
any one had a decent exhaust for there v8, i wanna change the genuine ive just put on, had a look at a janspeed but over £700, its just a joke, anyone had anything similar for sensible money.
i was thinking along the lines of about 4 / 500 for manifold and system, or am i just being unrealistic.
they never used to be that silly years ago for the cars we had.
any ideas?

I think the thing pushing prices up is the cat - the stainless steel one for my Disco was under £200 although that didn't include a new downpipe. Not a problem as the reason I wanted it was the back box having rotted!

Double S are about £500 though IIRC and you need a well made on for the driver's side.
