What massive amounts of energy is wasted on the lights where in reality the old T junction was fine?? Yes some Traffic lights and signs are needed but many are not and are targets for vandals. They then cost the tax payer a fortune to replace."

Nothing Like the signs that STAY ALERT on the approach to an Island but there presents actually blocks the view of the traffic which you are needing to stay alert for.

Agreed, I don't doubt that a lot of signs are needed, but I think a lot are a pain in the backside as with traffic lights. Asda in Grantham is a example of a total nightmare, it was fine once then the made it over complicated and keep digging it up every 2 weeks. :roll:

Whats worse is when the sign you want can't be seen because the bushes round it haven't been cut for years :evil:

I think visability is much more important than another sign so I will be signing ...

However I did get sidetracked by a few other petitions and I signed 2.
