Hi all, just been recovered from M62 at Morley,no power from enbgine exept on first starting up. Then smokes like a gud un! Anybody had similar [robs and what was the cure, Bazz of Ponte. :cry: :boohoo:

sounds like Fuel pump timing or Another Fuel Fault

have you tryed changing Fuel Filter, we had a BMW X5 doing similar, i.e. difficult to start, rough running, loss of power and revs

do these faults sound like the problems you are having??

That certainly sounds like a control fault; most probably a sensor not working properly and it's trying to compensate.

What you need is to get it plugged into a Diagnostics setup and that will probably just tell you straight off what the problem is; who recovered you? I would have thought they would at least tell you that if they could not do it themselves.
