Sorry BK but you have asked for all this, no point getting tetchy now because we were all right despite your abuse and comments about our abilities... as the saying goes The truth hurts....
Still glad one of us apparent 'armchair mechanics' has managed to get to the bottom of it, if only youd taken the advice you asked for and we freely gave at the start of this thread.

the car is now sold (to a nice guy)and gone,so that is where this thread should go,in the bin!but if you lot want to carry on like kids,no problem,ill just go and get a bottle of lager from the fridge and chill while you boys keep bitchin about it......no worries :roll:
