Mobile phone advice
bensonsnuts:
Sorry 1st post should read mobiles2yourdoor as the retailer not phones2go ......I've changed it now ......bloody phone companies ....make my head spin
I spoke to vodafone who were pleasant and English  but couldn't use my PAC as it has to be entered at point of sale .
Rang mobiles2yourdoor and found they don't have anywhere on their internet form to use a pac code . So it is going back
Just need somebody to stick a bomb under 3 now and I'll be happy

That surprises me. I'm sure we have bought phones and then rang the PAC code through when we received it from the previous provider.

That's a load of rubbish. You can transfer a number at any point, just means 5 mins admin for vodafone. There just being lazy gtis!

I had this with vodaphone last year .It's the law if they give you a pac code and you don't use it they have to keep your account open for a mouth.I was never told this and i was never sent any info ethier.I think it mobile providers way of getting more cash out of you. There just on the take.
I left vodaphone and am now with orange and all seems good at the moment.
