Brake fluid
Sabo:
Checked engine oil after being away today and noted fluid around brake reservoir, went to look and it had overflowed and it was warm?
Any idea what is going on, not topped it up since last year, braking was OK.
Dave
Range Rover Blues:
Was it a long journey?
Sabo:
went 70 mile out in morning then 70 mile at end of day back home, not sure whether the brake fluid normally gets warm anyway as I've never put my finger in before but it's just that it had overflowed out the reservoir.
Dave
Guardian.:
HAVE YOU PUT NEW PADS IN RECENTLY?
Frankie-Boy:
If your brake fluid is warm it could be water in it, after a time brake fluid attracts minute droplets of water and its that getting hot under braking conditions and may have expanded out of the reservoir, might be time to get the fluid changed.
