Light bar wiring can it be done ???????????

If you consult the fitting instructions on any RING product it states quite clearly that additional marker lights (sidelights, like the angle eyes) are only legal in Germany, in the UK we are allowed one pair of sidelights and one pair of dipped beams. In addition we are allowed 6 lamps to be illumintaed at any one time for our main beam.

That maybe so. But the Op was asking about Roof lights which are classed as additional spotlamps not sidelamps.

I thought he wanted both :? :? (side lights inside the spots)
Either way just put them on a switch and turn them off if any questions are asked Give it the 'sorry officer they are for offroad use and i must have forgot to turn them off :^o :^o '

I do but still haven't worked out which way to do it :? i am liking the idea of playing with a dim dip unit and see what i can come up with :-k

Aye he did but because they are not at the sides of the vehicle they are classed as additional lamps by fitting two bulbs to each lamp it just gives him variable brightness. no different from having two spots with 55w and 2 with 100w bulbs. And as you say technically they're not for road use so don't class as side lamps on that score either.
