sportrak and 16 inch rims

Ok so a quandry if anyone can help, a mate has just bought a sportrak and has some 16 inch tyres. now he wants some 16 inch rims to put them on has anyone any idea which rims will fit the sportrak? I've heard that vitara rims are 16 inch but is the fitment the same?

In short YES, they will fit - Daihatsu & Suzuki share the same fitment, although the offset can vary. You may need to fit some spacers.

Depending on what size tyres you intend to fit, you will probably need to lift the sporty.
I use to run 31's on my old sporty with a 2" lift.

If your gonna be off roading in the sporty, i have seen sportrak's running 7.50 16's on vitara 7" GV rims. These would give BIG clearence.
