the strangest thing just happened.

:?  There i was qiute happily reading threads on forum when out of the blue my p.c just shut down completly, dont know why. So i switched everything of un plugged main power supply, even disconected the phone line. Switched everything back on, checked my anti virus program for any problems, no everythings fine no malicious mail or anything. Tested a phew other things there fine. So im now back on the forum with no problems what so ever. The only thing i can think of is my anti virus program detected a bad incomeing virus or something and it shut down my p.c before any dammage was done, i know it can do this but it has never happened before. It must of been a bad one for Zone Alarm Pro to shut me down.   Everything seems fine now.Phew!!!. :D

Found out it was due to the processor fan not working.

Might be that.?

No its working fine, dont know what happened seems fine now.
But cheers anyway, had me worried there for a minute. :?

Its about time i upgraded it though.
More memory,
A decent grafix card,
A better sound card, etc etc.... Thing is it cost money and ide rather spend it on my Rangie. :D

If you have software which will shut your machine down without your intervention I suggest you get rid of it  :shock:     What if you are in the middle of a document, or at the end of a big download....

My anti virus software normally lets me know if something is wrong or even windows xp lets me know, but for some reason it didnt this time. Luckily when this happens ( with warning ) the software i have installed automaticaly saves anything i was working on or looking at, at the time so no harm is done.   It might be the fact that i was running to many things at once and it confused my p.c. :?
