Wheel Spacers
DonH:
Just about to fit some 30mm wheel spcers to my D1 from Rakeway enginering;
is it best to just torque them up to 130 thingies or to do the same with some lock'n'seal as well???
Any thoughts greatfully apreciated.
MudRat:
cover the backs in copper grease, otherwise they are a nightmare to get off again after a while, locktite on the nuts and torque em up,
DonH:
Thanks, my thoughts exactly... and other council or advice from other is welcome please.
ben_haynes:
as lee said but only put the Copper Grease on the hub flange as the grease moves around causing the Wheel / Spacer to come loose even with "loc-tite" on the studs :shock:

When i brought my 40mm spacers from rakeway he said just clean the hub slighty grease and don't lock tight them. Just torque them up :afro:
