How did you fit it,????I had a look at mine and I cant even get a hand up to wher it is from underneath.Looks like the engine/gearbox needs to be moved to get in there?or do you go in from above?
did you get one from a main dealer or independent parts place?Any advice would be apreciated as mine still runs cr@p on petrol after replacing o2 sensor.
Thanx.

Bishops Finger:
Mine was from a dealer and think fitting was @1 hour...

offroading.net:
disconnect the front prop, you need extension bars on a small socket about 18" long to make the job easier

ronttuk:
Sorry for the delay been on holiday then away working, to remove the crank shaft sensor we used an 11 mill socket on 3 extension bars to undo the bolt (be careful not to drop the bolt and protective plate as it lands on the front axel and is a pig to get out) when the bolt was undone we squeezed arm and hand down the right hand side of the engine to the bell housing with a bit of blind fiddling we managed to get the old unit out fitting was the opposite of removal just more fiddly and the right PITA.

We used a genuine jeep part from a main dealer approx £94.

sardonicus:
